After waiting for the appropriate winds to sail off, the first sailing day was Friday 16 of March, Lavrion to Poros. Easy sailing brought me to Poros at sunset. Strong south wind blew on Saturday as forecast so the day was dedicated to some rest and repair of the sea water pump that sprang a leak out of the blue during the very first day of sailing. Fortunately the local mechanic was an real expert and fixed it in half an hour at a speed and skill I still can not believe. He had all the spare parts needed that the local shipchandler did not and he had to order for me from Pireaus, finally delivered in Lefkada.
